  1. Well Dave, seeing as you have admitted recieving the kit, REVIEW PLEASE!
  2. Just checked mine, arrived in Chicago yesterday morning ( not quite far enough over to count as West Country over here though) (( But, as a Yorkshire Lad living to the west, do I count???? ))
  3. YES I DO! Coincidentally, I have a clean hobbybench () and the shop will be officially closed Dec 31st. Which means MORE bench time So, yes, progress will be made.
  4. There is a 1/72 vacform. Maybe we can scratchbuild a 1/32 one after the R6
  5. If I were to head west to get to Summerset it would be about 28,000 miles!
  6. I think it will have to be you doing the review Max.
  7. That's right, make me jealous, see if I care.
  8. Just checked my tracking number.....still stuck at the NZ airport customs!
  9. You have to love that swept back tailfin. Adds at least 0.25 mph to the top speed.
  10. We all hope that you are taking prodigious amounts of photo's and copious notes for the upcoming KLP book Your Hawker Fury book is AWESOME!
  11. Yep, got the email today. Excellent service.
  12. At last we can build a model deserving of Albert Balls' markings.
  13. An update, I emailed Graham at Iconicair and he replied very quickly with a whole bunch of photos of his set. Super service and it looks to be a very complete and good quality set. I will order one today. Regards, Pete
  14. His Spitfire engine looks totally awesome too, I would like to get one of those also.
  15. Thanks Kev, I didn't know that. Will send him a note.
  16. So, from my perspective as a customer willing to throw money out there, Fischkopp looks to have a superior product from their fb page, but seriously lacks the international credibility simply because they do not have a website other than a fb page. No Thanks. Iconicair looks to have a reasonable product that will save me a ton of scratchbuilding, AND a credible website, BUT with virtually NO detailed info about their products. So, I feel caught between a rock and a hard place here. IF ANYONE HERE HAS A CONTACT WITH EITHER COMPANY, SHOW THEM THIS. I am the one in a thousand who raises their hand in a company meeting! lol! I want these guys to succeed! But as a customer who has had to dig WAY more than needed to find thier products and then being stymied by their own marketing incompetancy, it is really frustrating. I mean," here Guys! I am willing to throw money at you! " but both companys make it unessarily difficult.
  17. Thanks Ivan, there is also a conversion kit from Iconicair for the same thing. As it stands right now, Iconicair will get my money because (A) They have a regular website WITH an address and contact info. I know where they are. (B) They are not hiding on fb, with NO company info. (C) I know people who have bought from Iconicair and been happy with the transaction. BUT, the Iconicair set is designed for the HKM kit, and their website lacks detailed info on the set, as it does all of their products. ANOTHER case of "get your ACT together! " and improve your marketing.......you will sell more product.
