  1. Shweet looking head Pete. You nailed it brother. Looks way better than mine!!! Tim
  2. IMO, very nicely done Chuck! But then again, every kicked up a notch model has turned out beautiful!!! How about giving the Kitty Hawk H-60 a kicked up notch??? Between Pete and you, I'd be ecstatic watching 2 master modelers crank out 2 awesome helos!!! Tim
  3. Looking nice! Never new MRP made liquid plastic. Might be a good thing for seams and such apparently. Tim
  4. Are you going to describe how you adjusted the blade pitch in the ebook? Tim
  5. Ah, I see. You'll have to tell me how you setup the blade pitch angle and the jig you made to show the upward angle of the blades. Tim
  6. Woah!!! Looks spot on. Pete. Some serious pitch being pulled for that rescue. Great idea for the jig and numbered holder. Why does it matter about the blades??? Tim
  7. I'll play. This is my Kitty Hawk MH-60L: Tim
  8. Yeah, now that I've mulled it over in my head, I don't think I want to tackle that task. I think I'll stick to archer rivets for my upcoming build! Tim
  9. If anybody wants to give it a try, evilbay has a container of 250,000 for $23 bucks. The carpet monster will probably eat about 10,000 before you're done!!! https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.ebay.com/itm/250k-0-3-0-30-mm-0-3mm-0-30mm-BGA-Solder-Balls-PB-Lead-Free-RoHS-/400901060837&ved=2ahUKEwjF1tTCuKnvAhVBnp4KHWWCDOcQFjATegQIExAC&usg=AOvVaw10VcEwzg6XN7qPMajezAl9 Tim
  10. I'd give it a try, but how in the world do you not lose thousands of balls bouncing around the table??? Tim
  11. This guy went about reriveting the H-60 model a whole different way. He used .3mm soldering balls and glued them into the recessed rivet holes on the model. It looks really good, but wow those are some small balls of solder to glue in! Tim
  12. Man, Dale's on some good medicine!!!! Lol Tim
  13. Pete, you ever thought about using the Operational Camo decals from Crossdelta? I'm leaning more and more toward trying them on my figures. The camo pattern looks dead on. Tim
  14. Nah! Never seen them before!!! Looking awesome as usual from you Pete. I'll just mail you my figures to paint for me. Tim
  15. I don't see why it wouldn't, but you may have a blade cuff connection to the hub issue. Tim
  16. I've never done that before. I'll keep that as a last resort move. Thanks for the tip! Tim
  17. Did you use paperclips for the positioning of the limbs followed by the Apoxie sculpt? Tim
  18. Thanks Pete, I'll check them out. How did you put together your Franken figures? Tim
  19. I have 2 of those reskit heads, though VERY nice in detail, it looks like the spindles are molded in flat pitch and not the 8 degree up pitch. Tim
  20. I'll go to a different round and round. This video was shot from a drone. Tim
  21. I'll be starting an inflight helo build similar to Pete's HH-60G build soon and I need some help. I will be using the Live Resin helicopter pilot, but I need his legs to be more straight down as he will be sitting in the doorway of a HH-60L medevac operating a hoist during a rescue. I need to cut his legs where you see the red lines, but how do you reposition his lower legs? Hot water? Thanks Tim
  22. Pete, going back over your posts, I noticed you didnt give a vallejo color for the air crew's webgear. Do you remember what MC color it was by chance? Tim
  23. Looking forward to getting a set of them for my inflight helo! Tim
  24. https://www.facebook.com/groups/232888180158696/permalink/3691188954328584/ Tim
  25. Looking forward to all of these upcoming helo builds. I'm sad to see the pavehawk build winding down, but happy there's 2 more helos waiting!!! Tim
