actually Zavod 47 was in Leningrad and they built UT-2's an Il-2 of that series could have been made at 1 of 3 places: Zavod 30 in Khodinka (Moskva) Zavod 1 in Kuibyshev Zavod 18 also in Kuibyshev. (these two factories were just down the street from each other)

Italeri kit (1/48) is a re-box of Accurate Miniatures,with new decals (the kit can be found in a Hasegawa box too if you look real hard) in 72 the Eastern Express kit in the white box has the Toko kit and NS-37 pods from the Dakoplast kit. so , weirdness is not limited to 1/32 scale so just for clarification if I get the one with "Za Chest Gvardii" as box art this is a "Straight" wing kit with NS-37 pods ?

Thanks , Tim. I might not have made this clear earlier, I want to do the NS-37 armed machines. they are my favorite.--just sick and tired of them incorrectly putting them in the swept-wing kits.

thank you for this clarification I have been thinking of 'splurging' and getting this kit-usually way outside my price margin still not fond of metal outer wings -- I wish kit makers would stop doing that -- I do not want to use putty to make the wings right. (any marking options other than what is shown on the box art? -- done that one already in 1/48) have they at least figured out that NS-37 cannons do NOT go with a swept-wing machine?
