  1. Murph I love it, great weathering. It has me so inspired yesterday I started on my Trump which will be backdated to a 1A bubble top.
  2. Hi chaps, I've going to get the new revell kit (calm it......it's 1:48) to build but I need to have it done by the end of the month. I don't want a standard 70/71 scheme, can anyone send me a profile of something a bit different. Spanish civil war, winter white wash, desert? Cheers guys.
  3. Looks like the Earth from 50'000 feet! Awesome mate, using that crackle stuff is genius!
  4. Nice one Jay.....GIT! I've got the Wellington bagsied, should be here in June apparently. Also the CMK/Italeri Gripen, if I can bring myself to do a jet! . Bagsie, shotgun, two clips, full fowlies the 1:24 Fw 190A. Only kidding, I've got enough with the smaller stuff. I've just bought a Sweet Zero in 1:144 as well, can you believe it? It'll be tiny. I can't wait to do the Wimpy, I hope it's not a git of a kit, the Condor was hard work.
  5. Murph That sir is looking great. It'll come alive with the decals.
  6. Hi chaps, just seen this. Looks like another winner from China. http://www.ipmsphilippines.com/reviews/tru...bd/trumpsbd.htm
  7. Klaus said you chaps might be interested in this so here it is. It is Dragon's new kit built for Model Airplane Monthly, straight from the box apart from the ubiqutous Eduard seat belts and riveted with MDC's tool. Please forgive me in posting a non LSP here.
  8. John That is sooo cool, I love it. You have to enter that in the Nats, it's got Gold written all over it. Is the sea your sillicone trick? It's looks so real, how do you get it to stand up? Jamie
  9. Don't apologise mate, that is looking good. I like the engine wiring.
  10. Chris, that looks awesome. Montex rule.
  11. You broke it! How are you going to cover it?
  12. Chris This is your best one yet (and I am including the Dora), I love that paint job. Lovely, very inspiring.
  13. Looks good mate, are the underwing stripes supposed to be black on the outside? I've not seen that in D-Day stripes before.
  14. That mate is awesome, it looks so real you have to do a base for it.
  15. Really good Brad, I like that a lot.
  16. That is going to be BIG! Don't worry about over doing the wx, you can always spray thin 02 to tone everything down.
  17. Piet The weathering makes all the difference, it's really coming alive!
  18. Contrast in 70/71 schemes vary widly, the fresher the paint the less contrast and vice versa. HTH.
  19. Yeah Jay, how big is it?
  20. Really nice mate, what mag is this for, the new ADH title?
  21. Blimey, that didn't take long. Sweet work mate.
  22. Hi Matt, as far as I am aware it is a general term for a sailor.
  23. Looking really good mate, love the weathering.
  24. Beaut mate, the background makes a big difference.
  25. Cheers Matt, I have sent Jez an email. By the way, did you know that your name was a generic term for a Royal Navy sailor? Matelot!
