  1. Drop me an e-mail, I have a PDF file on how to cast your own resin parts that I can send you, my e-mail is wolf427@comcast.net
  2. Photoshop is a good bitmap program, Xara X is a good vector program, easy to use an a lot cheaper!! their link is http://www.xara.com/ and here's a link to a tut site http://www.xaraxone.com/ they compliment each othe nicely, I've heard Illustrator is good too. Here's forums that cover Xara X and Photoshop, along with others http://talkgraphics.infopop.net/1/OpenTopi...78&u=5711919516
  3. I believe that's Rato's P-40 seat article Nice thing about pain pills is you can blame everything on them, just wince when you say it. A lady I know got a home perm (they stink), she asked me what I thought, knowing women always want the truth I said I thought she smelled like a wet dog...she got mad?? Oohhh the pain, time for another pill... Wish our weather reporters looked like yours, none of the local news channels are very pretty Fox News at least has some nice lookin' babes
  4. Cool, thanks!! Easy to do that nose art, print it out on paper, cut it out and attach it with Future. Was chopping up a B a while ago to make Beguine but really screwed up, have another, not sure which to do, either one is way down the list though. Beguine is a major chop job, no scoop, radiators on wings, decals are available
  5. I'm not sure, I found the picture on the Internet. I really like the photo you posted with the two nose arts under the canopy, are there other pictures or information on the plane?
  6. It slid back, I believe they added rails to the outside, here's a few photos
  7. And another. More detail photos on my P-40 site under P-40's Today.
  8. Ray's right, the frame is pretty much correct on the kit. I'm probably going to paint the inside frame and then attach the bulletproof glass. Here's a pic
  9. Nice article by Tony coming up soon...
  10. Cleveland Models has plans starting at 1/32nd scale of a lot of the planes from the golden age through WW2 http://www.clevelandairline.com/
  11. Try the traders board, people might have some they want to sell. Micro-Mark has some great tools/supplies that can really help (I've found some items and will be ordering more), their link is in our link/manufacturers section.
  12. That's a great looking F3F!! Can't wait for the article.
  13. Here is a link to a store that has different decal papers and the spray needed to use on them http://www.mcgpaper.com/
  14. We'd love to see some photos or an article on this oldie but good-looking kit! It shows a good-looking model can be built on these old kits
  15. Here are three good build articles on the 1/24th 109E https://www.largescaleplanes.com/articles/article.php?aid=820 https://www.largescaleplanes.com/articles/article.php?aid=616
  16. I haven't seen their Wildcat, but I have their P-40 and 105 and their canopies really are nice. They're not as thin as a vac, but they are a huge improvement over the old Revell canopies, they seem to be a lot thinner and the framework is a lot more subtle. For the clear cowl, you could try painting 1/2 or 2/3 of it on the outside and inside which will still leaves some of the clear cowl to show off the detail of the engine, you could add some plastic strips for framework inside the cowl also. The Detail & Scale book on the Wildcat is pretty nice.
  17. RC Resins has some items, a seat is not listed, but I think I saw somewhere they may be doing one. You can always put in a request, I like their way of selling parts instead of whole sets, more affordable and you can get what you want. http://www.largescaleplanes.com/preview/RC...ins/105/105.htm
  18. How about a review of the Buffalo and maybe even the Panther? We have seen pictures of the Panther (although a review would be great), but no one has seen the Buffalo yet, a review would be greatly appreciated!!
  19. Welcome to LSP and the building of large airplanes, they are addicting and there hasn't been a better time to be in large-scale airplane building with all the new kits and aftermarket items coming out. Brad in Minnesota also.
  20. What does the real plane look like??? Never heard of it...
  21. Once I get them sanded, they'll be the core for covering them...received a number of suggestions on different ways to cover them, will check out what works best.
