Two 1/32 nd Italeri "fantasy" builds. I called them the Me 117 "Adler". The one with the red fin is the "Propaganda" prototype.The camouflaged Adler is with full weapons.

Hi, All feedback is wellcome. I do all my builds as factory fresh or museum pieces. That means no weathering. It's just the way I do it.

The first coat is straight from the jar The second and third(if needed)has some thinner added. The sponge is used directly after adding the paint to get rid of the strokes.Best is to do it with each coat. I don't use clear coats.I use satin enamel straigt from the jar or mix it with satin or gloss varnish when using a color only found in matt. I never paint matt.

The fan part is wrong in the kit. I shall take your advice. But it still looks like the fan itself should also be a bit more inside the cowling.

Hi all, Finished after just two weeks. But that's only because I don't spend much time on internal detail. Finished with just the US-stars. I rarely add codes to my builds.Unless it's for a certain era and place in a group build.

Hi all, I plan to build this in the next GB. Some reviews state that their is something wrong with the lenght of the engine section. It makes the prop and fan stick out to much. I found this picture that clearly shows it's not correct. Any way of fixing this ? I plan to build mine closed. Maybe leaving out part of the engine might work ? Not much can be seen with the fan in front.

Watch out with the decals. I placed the US markings on my Hellcat today. They are very fragile and silver. Best is to cut the bars from the stars and cut as close as possible to the markings.

I made one when it first came out. It builds without any problems at all. Great kit for it's money.

I need to know too. The canopy in the 24 th Airfix Hellcat is to wide.

Your cockpit looks much better than mine.Good work. Does your canopy fit nicely onto the fuselage ? Mine's molded to wide with a 3 mm gab on each side. I fear it will crack if I force it when glueing to the fuselage.

How are the decals ? I've read that the US -stars tend to tear up easely.

This got three coats. But the flash makes it look lighter. I shall try to get the end pictures better to show the correct shade.

Adding the engine section and pannels didn't take long to do. It all fits perfectly. Added the first coat of midnight blue. Then sanded with a kitchen sponge. This will need three layers to get a good result.

What's the differance ? Marine sounds like Navy to me.
