Iain
Our second review of Special Hobby's superb range of Tempest kits - this time the standard kit version of the Tempest Mk.V Special Hobby | SH32049 Tempest Mk.V Iain dennismcc, CANicoll and LSP_Kevin
thierry laurent
Thanks Iain! A slight remark: the Series 1 had two other features: the bigger wheels and the strenghteners between the fuselage and tail. Such plates were comparable to the ones visible on early Typhoons. However, they are far less noticeable on pictures as they were quite thinner. Unfortunately, the kit does not have them and Eduard did not add them to their (quite useless) set. Iain
Thanks Thierry - I'll add a note to the review to that effect later in the week. Do you know what airframe serials the strengtheners were applicable up to? Iain

thierry laurent
You're welcome! So, the differences only apply to the plane of Van Lierde. This scheme cannot be build from the box. Thierry Iain
