I bought the base plate at arts and craft store and then...Check here http://nautilusmodels.com/ or direct http://nautilusmodels.com/decks.htm James does the decks with all the tie downs lazer engraved into the balsa. I already had the tom's model works tie dows so I had him etch a small recess for the metal tie down strips. He did the same for the circular tie donwns. Give him a shout.
