Guest Nigelr32
My ribbing looks "overscale" because I have used 0.5mm card to make the ribs. If you consider the ribs would probably be made from 16swg aluminium, I would have had to have used 0.046mm or 2 thou sheet and fold it to achieve the correct form of the rib sections!! I look forward to seeing your ribbing.......

Roy vd M.
What a magnificent thread. It's very valuable for those who have been building the kit, those who are building it (such as myself) and also those who'll build it in the future!
Roy vd M.
Hi all, I was wondering whether the bomb bay color of earlier (pre-1939) 111s is RLM02. Can anyone confirm this? Or should it be RLM66? And would it be correct to present a few of the individual bomb bay doors open, while some others remain shut? Or would the bomb doors be opened and closed simultaneously? Thanks, Best regards Roy Edited January 11, 2013 by Roy vd M.
Roy vd M.
Meanwhile I've found out that the doors could be opened and closed individually.
Heavens Eagle
Nigel the way you redid the interior on the He 111 was inspiring. Have that kit in line to be built and how you made and added the formers gave me a Duh! moment! Have the tools already, just never thought about how I might use them like that. fockewings
Really good thread. Interesting and helpful. Havent touched my He-111P-2 yet. But I have loads of pictures taken by myself from the actual plane in OSLO Gardemoen. Anyone interested? Is it wished and approved to post them here? plane_mc
