This is pretty basic and don't want to appear lazy (as in a Google search could solve it). I am finding only Montex masks which use cut vinyl and aren't my favorite, and was wondering if there's another option that uses tape? I have the Tamiya 1/32 F4U-1D and simply do not wish to use the thick decals in the kit.

Scheme? The very basic 1944/45 carriers based Corsairs on the USS Essex or Bunker Hill. I just need a good set of star and bar insiginias and 3 digit numbers "172, 182, etc"

Also, decals. So many are out of stock and don't quite match what i'm looking for. The Fundecals kit would be perfect if it weren't out of stock.

I understand this may be a mix of decals and masking to achieve the results i'm looking for. Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

Maketar masks are back on line. Their mask are offered in both vinyl and kabuki tape. They are excellent.

Correction: they say that the store will reopen next month.
