Terrific work so far, Phil.

 

 

I must confess, however, that the RLM 02 just doesn't seem quite right.  I took a quick look on the 'net and found this, which I hope will be useful:

The specific color chip of interest is taken from that discussion:

It just doesn't seem as green as the version you got, and it seems to match the color chip well.

Thanks. Though the color is technically not incorrect, I agree with you. I would have preferred a grayer tone, but I’ve grown to be ok with it since the RLM 02 shade varied considerably during the war due to supply chain problems. There is much debate on the shade and even actual museum artifacts yield a wide variety of shades. I ended up using AK’s RLM 02 Grau (1941).
