OV-10 Bronco, glazed rear fuselage

Hi Guys

 

I am looking for some help, as I cannot find more pictures or references. I know that the German airforce had some of these and used them for Target towing, I have found this one picture of one in Marines markings on the NET.

So the question is this a ex-German aircraft, or did the US Forces have these in service as well. Did any other Airforces use them.

Any information would be appreciated.

That is a good start, thanks Andy. Seen the jet power before, a little more information would help, to enable that to be modelled though.

I'll see what I can find, the first photo is probably ex-Luftwaffe - there are quite a few in private hands.

That is what I thought, ok great, I am not sure if I will do anything with it, I may do a conversion, but I am just curious about these. 
it certainly makes the Bronco look quite different

Hard to tell, but it looks like it’s N-numbered.  Might have been modified for air to air photography out the back.  Have seen that before somewhere.
