John1
Sounds pretty amazing, although I'm surprised that they don't have any actual B-17's being used. I'm guessing the CGI will more than make up for it though. Dennis7423
In a way, they're using several pieces of real B-17s for production. For example, the B-17 Cockpit Project's fully detailed cockpit section, perhaps the most complete in existence, was used for filming, although they won't admit it. It's been seen in the background of several Instagram videos posted from the set. They also have a separate nose section, and a ball turret. What I'm curious about is their depiction of B-17Gs. They repainted the F mockups in silver as Gs, but didn't convert them at all (no bulged cheek windows, no chin turrets, F-style top turrets). Hoping they add with CGI, and don't commit an absolutely horrible accuracy blunder. - Dennis S. Thornton, CO USA
ade rowlands
Apple TV? That’s a shame. I got it free for a year with a new Apple device. Only found one thing worth watching. Hoping some other company picks up the showing of it here.
