Spectacular!

Mirage is such elegant plane and your two-seater is a beauty!!!

I really like the soft but effective effect of the panel lines... great job!!!

CIAO!

Fantastic build Malcolm. well done:clap2::clap2:

Nice to see correctly sized and shaped SAAF castles on a model.

Thanks Nick. Like I said, I used the 32nd Kitty Hawk Harvard and 48th Airfix Canberra decals. They worked well :)

Excellent work on the conversion.  Definitely looks like it came straight from the box that way.  Looks good next to its brethren.

Appreciate the positive comments gents. I must say, I have 5 of these kits built and they are all very nice looking. I'll most probably do at least another 5. A natural metal French IIIE and a NATO grey/green Spanish IIIE, a blue-grey Brazilian F103 etc. etc. :closedeyes::ph34r:

Thanks Jenshb :). Hopefully John has a Cheetah C up his sleeve. The sexiest of them all in my opinion ^_^

Hi Malcom,

I am absolutely amazed by your craftsmanship. I don't get to finish models anymore, so it's such a reward to see the completed model turn out successfully  :goodjob::clap2:

As for the Cheetah C requests increasing, I might as well make a conversion for the ugly duckling of the Cheetahs... :whistle:

Cheers,

John

Comparison with hanger friends - IIIRZ :

With IIICZ - D2Z will be in a similar colour scheme - hard edge, semi gloss. Single seater looks so much chubbier B) :

Some awesome SAAF Mirage builds! Could read these build threads all day long.

You have inspired me to get the 1/32 kits to add to my 1/48 Mirages!

Any place we can see more pics of the Mirage lll RZ? Looks like 835 when she was delivered to Swartkops Museum by Captain Dudley Trollip?
