Reuben L. Hernandez
Just wondering if any manufacturer out there makes any decals or paint masking sets for captured 109’s? Saw some interesting, US captured 109’s models and I thought, that’s different. So now, I’m on a quest.. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Reuben San Antonio, TX. BradG
There's not a lot in 1/32 LF Models do a few sheets including captured 190's, scroll to the bottom 3 lines in this link and you will find them; http://www.lfmodels.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2_31_65 Delta One do this sheet; http://www.hyperscale.com/2015/reviews/decals/deltaoneamericang6sdecalreviewbf_1.htm Blue Rider also did the captured Romanian 109 with the American flag on it. I've found that British aircraft tend to be eaiser to find decals for if you want to do one with decals from the stash as they used standard sized insignia you just need to figure out which size and you're good where the American's tended to use non standard stars and bars. Here's one I did with markings from the spares box and some hand cut masks. https://www.largescaleplanes.com/articles/article.php?aid=
LSP_Kevin
Not sure if these are still available, but back in 2014 I reviewed the following set from Delta One: https://www.largescaleplanes.com/reviews/review.php?rid=1364 Kev
Reuben L. Hernandez
Thanks fellas, really appreciate all you help, links and suggestions. I sent an e-mail to Delta One and they responded with, "we only have a few sheets left over", of their 1/32 Bf.109G-6's planes. Thanks, Reuben BradG and LSP_Kevin
