Indeed, and it's very unlikely Kinetic will stop there. Last I heard they were also intending to put out a 1/32 Kfir.

Really....... hmmmm....  maybe I'll just wait for that instead of doing the conversion that I mentioned above. Kinetic would certainly be in position to do a 32nd Kfir, as they've done a nice one in 48th scale. Most interesting..... ;0) Fred K.

Indeed, according to Cybermodeler, Kinetic is still working on that project but this looks like a middle-term rather than a short-term one. Wait and see.

With regard to the kit question, you should start with a Mirage IIIE as the IIIC had the different end fuselage (tailored for the ATAR9B nozzle) and the shorter fuselage.

The V is actually a IIIE without radar. It was virtually identical to the Nesher and the Kfir C1 was based on the same airframe with some modified features (essentially a different engine and a redesigned nose)

  • 2 weeks later...

Received my Revell Mirage IIIE/O/R this morning.

Unnecessarily large box, no etch but all the plastic and lovely decals.

Silver scheme E, Ardennes 1993, BA 133 Nancy-Ochey

Camo RD, Moselle 1987, BA 124 Strasbourg-Entzheim

Camo O, No.3 Sqn 1983, RAAF Butterworth, Malaysia

This one's a builder, once I've added some Eduard cockpit stuff
