If I could do it all over again, I'd have backfilled the fuselage halves  with either sprue glue or thin layers of styrene that had been softened with glue.  But instead I'll just buy the Cyberhobby kit.  I hate the thought of buying a 'donor' kit.

So I took a closer look at what you described and I 'could' see what

you were talking about. To me it looks rather minor and difficult to

see unless you're looking for it. I'll try to sand it down which I don't

think would require any backfilling.  I'll see what happens when (IF)

I ever get around to it.  I have 3 so I'll get plenty of practice  :rolleyes:.

 I really like the 70/02 paint scheme from that time in the BoB. I may hide the "chubby" part with a slightly different paint scheme. The straight line accentuates the drop off.

 

This kit has been out how many years?  Surely I can't be the only one to notice?
