ninjrk Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 Probably an odd question but does anyone out there make decent stancil decals for 1/32 Chinese fighters? I'm looking at converting a SU-27 to a J-11 but have no idea if such things exist. I looked over the decals in the Trumpeter J-7 kits and the decals are basic large markings, so not of much use. Thanks, Matt
Luca Posted May 17, 2017 Posted May 17, 2017 (edited) Caracal makes a great sheet but it's in 1/48 and for the Sea Flanker... hope they will be upsizing it.... Edited May 17, 2017 by Luca
Bill Cross Posted May 17, 2017 Posted May 17, 2017 Try Georg Eyerman over on Armorama (GreatPumpkin). He makes custom decals at a reasonable price.

Bill Cross Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 Thanks to all. I found some 1/48 ones that I may be able to upscale. We'll see! Just be careful to have good documentation or someone who reads Chinese to tell you which ones go where. Not as bad as the tattoos I have seen of Chinese characters upside down, backwards or just the wrong meaning. At least with a model, you can paint over a mistake.
