LSP_Kevin
Howdy folks, I've just published my review of a new stencil set from HGW: HGW #232001: Spitfire Mk.IX Stencils Enjoy! Kev
Zero77
That may be a revolution for some NMF finish where you cant hide the support film under a coat of varnish. Hobbydecal dry transfers were great but they are a pain to get, and do not work very correctly on "colored" paint (i mean other than metal). Wet transfers can be the solution ! K.Y.Czart
I used this set in my Spitfire model, and I am very happy with the result. Here are some photos of what it looks like on the finished model: http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=50916&page=2&do=findComment&comment=577115 Edited September 27, 2014 by K.Y.Czart
geedubelyer
Nice review Kev. These sets look to be a revelation. Splendid Spitfire K.Y. Czart. Could these be used on earlier marques of Spit? I'm thinking in particular of the new Revell Mk IIa. Cheers.
