Out2gtcha Posted May 14, 2015 Share Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) Well gents I can comment all day long about marine ov-10s spoilers left up was a no no might get bent or broken when refueling just purchased a d bird now waiting on the alpha birds oorah! Interesting to hear that.........................most of the OV-10As we saw/see at the air shows that we were not allowed in, seem to have the flight stick lock strap activated. The ones I have climbed in and around seem (like the previously mentioned X-Luftwaffe OV-10A) to have the lock removed all together. Out2gtcha Posted May 14, 2015 Share Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) The spoilers only came up on the wing that the aileron was pointed up for increased roll rate Oh yeah, see my last build: I was just referring to the fact that some of the civi (and military) OV-10As I see not only have the locks installed but activated with the stick in up elevator/right aileron position, and others have the locks completely removed with the spoilers down and all flying surfaces in the neutral.
