The formers where the tail was cut free was carefully framed...we want this to match up perfectly when the vacuformed plastic is glued together. The edges of the ribs were coated with super glue to change the color and stiffen them for the sanding process. Ready for the open areas to be planked with wood. The size difference between the 1/48 kit and the 1/32 master....bigger is better ! Time to glue the formers to the other half, then filling the open areas can begin. Good thing we have nice weather as this will have to be done outside !! Thats it for now, more in a day or two.
