Another Airfix Mosquito

My turn....I shall be building a 157 Squadron Intruder.

The only modifications will be no radar set and the later war roundels with the white bits being smaller.

Still going for the overall black as I think that will be pretty striking in this scale.

Pictures soon...!

Regards,

Very niiiiiiice, will certainly make a nice change from the standard camo. I'm planning on doing similar with a 1/48 in the markings of a Mossie that crashed nearby here during the war. My dad (about 7 at the time) saw it doing aerobatics and watched as it went out of contral and crashed into the side of a house. Apparently the pilot was trying to impress his girlfriend.

I guess he succeded in impressing his girlfriend, though not quite the way he'd planned!

Made more progress on the cockpit last night. Love the little instrument/bottle decals! Pix soon.

Actually, they are right ! The fire extinguisher was not red, it was brass or copper.

Whoa! That'll teach me! Luckily, that is a pretty easy fix. Glad somebody pointed it out before I put the cockpit in the fuselage! :notworking:
