About Me
I returned to modelling in 1996, my childhood hobby brought about by my fathers RAF career, having previously stopped about 1979 having discovered Pubs and Girls, an expensive distraction but ho hum such is life. Since then hopefully I have reached a reasonable level of proficiency. I build any scale between 1/72 and 1/24 most are 1/48 and 1/32 scale. I don't generally go for front line aircraft and certainly not 'aces', preferring research, trainers, prototypes, target towers etc. I find aircraft interesting that perform an entirely different role in the later years of life. I don't like airbrushes and compresors always using spray cans and hand painting, mostly Tamiya which I swear by for great results and a little forgivness, which is thin on the ground in our hobby.
Thank you for reading.
