  1. Cheers Alan, look really nice. Payment sent! Patrick
  2. Alan, Could you put me down for a set of these at all, please? Patrick
  3. Very nice looking illustrations. I'm reading the excellent Brett Gooden book on the Natter currently and thoughts are gradually turning to modelling, so thanks for posting that Patrick
  4. That'd be the badger! Star man - thanks for that! This beast isn't going to be immediate, I have a good four models ahead in the build queue, wish to cut (break?) my teeth on the 32nd prior and ideally want to get hold of the Airfix Classic Aircraft book (which I found and ignored in a second-hand place in Auckland - serve me right) for the fuselage framing. Still, it is in a plastic bag at my feet in the (small) cave so it WILL get done. God willing Thanks again, Patrick
  5. Would anyone be prepared to scan the instructions for me? I was given one by a friend, alas without paperwork and some of the assorted bits of Merlin etc look quite daunting without a map. MTIA - Patrick
  6. Nor me really, not really ready yet (apologies.) Still, did wonder about the 129. Mine scares me Patrick
  7. Lynn, Did you put pictures up of the finished Panzerknacker? Love to see them... Patrick
  8. Thanks, sir I guess however I am already in the hole though - the very good Hiscock book on the Hurricane arrived yesterday and the postie just brought a bag of (quite awesomely pretty) remedial bits from Grey Matter. A little later on in the year... Patrick
  9. This site is good, isn't it? A very kind gentleman sorted me out offline with a Hurricane, then I read the build article on 'Dear Old G' (well I mean, it has to be done, doesn't it?), discovered Grey Matter, added Visa and cockpit and prop are now prettily sorted Thank you admin, posters and modellers (that's you, Mr B, lovely bit of mastery on the cockpit!) Patrick
  10. No doubt could have, quite easily Yes, thanks for that - though I did a little bit of looking around and...there does seem to be a bit of a general run on Spits and Hurricanes right now. This must be good - could be a bit of a party thing happening! Patrick
  11. Thanks for that, sir. I confess I am not hugely interested in the shake and bake variety (don't see the point, haven't got the money) but am equally not a particularly accomplished modeller, so am seeking something I don't have to saw in half and add a 4mm extension to Hmm. Bash on in the quest for a partner aircraft for the (Matchbox) Emil I'd like to do for the Summer. Thanks again, Patrick
  12. Ah, that's the one shown on Mr Brinzan's web site eh? Marvelous work, worthy of high kudos. Thanks for posting that!
  13. Could I have opinions on this, please? Kit #00018 I believe. Mainly interested in (assuming this to be a 20+ year old re-box) whether the shape is seriously flawed or horribly wrong. Is this kit worth investing time and money in? Many thanks in advance, Patrick
