I don't have pictures but I've read about them in a couple of places. Thats why I wanted to find pictures of them. I love the Se 5 and would love doing an early USMC version.

where did you find USMC makings I can't even find pictures on the web. Been looking to do a USMC SE5 which they got at the end of the war and used for a few years.

I have both kits and am currently building the ZM kit. The ZM kit is fantastic but some of the fit issues are tricky and require alot of work to get everything to fit right. It's a great kit if you want to show off the interior and the cockpit is awesome. I've done a little work on the Revell kit so far and I can tell you as far as fit the Revell kit is a much better kit for overall fit even if there are errors in the kit. I plan on doing my Revell one in flight so I don't need all the interior for it.

Making headway I find myself painting more than building at this point.

I haven't checked squadron recently but I know that USPS has jacked their overseas shipping way up. I sent a 9 oz package to New Zealand EMS and I had to pay $31 to ship, $19 if I shipped Priority for a 9oz package. USPS is getting ridiculus. Time they go under.

I think these are the compressed air for the ejection seat. There are several bottles throughout the kit that are painted blue.

I'm using the instructions. I have no color references to work from unlike the cockpit which I am starting to get ready. For that I have a few references including the New Kagero and Airframe volumes

Those rates seem a bit high even for the US. I will say that the new USPS rates for any overseas shipping is a bit high but if you know how to pack and work with the system you can generate more appropriate postage. I just shipped a Fine Molds Chi Ti to Serbia Priority for $25 shipping.
