  3. Now working on the nose landing gear.... it's not bad but actually inaccurate....the wheel is too thin and has to be ... typical MiG...fat!.... Here's the start situation given in the model... Now I replaced the wheel with one of Revells Typhoon in 1:32 scale... it's very closely to the MiG one..!..and some more details through scratch-bulding Some work has also to be done on the rest of the gear leg....
  4. to find accurate drawing is one thing, but which are accurate?? I wont change the kit.... things maybe get worse....
  5. Thanks, but I realy don't know yet which ac it will going to be... But I think one in the bare metal finish (I will use bare metal foil) to be cont.

  7. it happened yesterday at 08:50 . The mission was to train spin procedures with the T-2E. His chute didn't opened...he tried again and again but no luck.... Both had over 2500 h experience... The T-2 is a great ac but now very old... we had in January one more lost after take-off, but both pilots could eject safely... oh my...

  17. Some little work...the windshield inner frame
  18. just wanted to tell you some things I found reading many articles about the soviet aces over Korea. Reading the interview of 9 Kill ace Mikhin (see above in the topic) he said he flown only one ac. all the time. His ac was unpaited without any red surfaces only red numbers. Now looking at the many profiles of aces ac Mikhins MiG15 is shown as a camouflaged ac (#1998) . And now tell me what the truth is... I think and I believe more that Mikhin said....
  19. yes the camera must be moved to the right. It's wrong in the kit.
  20. Ivan the HAF also flown some 104s with the 11 engine after they received many ex German birds with their MTU installed and many MTUs extra ....so ex German 104 means not automatically MTU engine on board
