  1. Sometimes Aires is a PITA with undersized parts, but so far the burner can is coming out nicely!
  2. I prefer the Jagdpanther with it sloped armour. Jagdtiger feel too boxy! But it will be a nice one on your shelf! Got my Tiger quite cheap so went a bit crazy on AM, Aber gun, AFV itsy bitsy thing in resin and photoetch, Archer decals etc.
  3. So was bored building aircraft models and decided for a major change of pace. Took the big cat out of the closet and started with the turret. It's been a while since the last armor I did! I didn't want a dirty cat because the one I want to do took part in the battle of the Bulge and was completed in late november 1944. Arrived at unit in december just in time for the battle. So a bit of mud, wear and tear and that's it. Basically some pigments, wash and graphite powder here and there. I used Flory model wash because they are so easy to used and fun to work with! Don't worry the pinion gear will get the treatment! So that's it for now. Stay tuned!
  4. Thanks Maru, there's a lot of interesting shots in that walk around.
  5. A quick and nice build! Love the result!
  6. Nice with the color on top side!
  7. Love you Maru! Yes you don't give up easily! This is what I want to do and want to confirm the paint scheme. Right now I only have pic of the nose of the aircraft! But with you on the prowl, sure there is something that will pop up! Cheers!
  8. Thanks Maru for the pics. My problem is finding pics of Omani single seaters in the desert paint scheme. So far I found one and all the others where of the twin seat!
  9. If you can find one, go for it! It's my third built so far and have really just high praise on the kit!
  10. Thanks Mike. It's such a nice kit, OOB it gives you a real nice model.
  11. Thanks Gaz! I love the fit of the wings, they did a recess so you can slide the wings into the fuse and the contour is the same on both wing and fuse so there is no gap!
  12. If you have a good base to start from, it is a lot easier and this kit is quite nice right from the start!
  13. Rato you may want to go there and check what he did on his Me-262. https://doogsmodels.com/completed-builds/completed-builds-aircraft/completed-builds-132-aircraft/messerschmitt-me-262a-2a/ Cheers Andre
  14. WOW! You sir are a real master! Love the idea of the fuselage leaving the tunnel. I am curious, how will you do the putty on the panels and rivet lines? Keep up the good work!
  15. Sorry guys, I was so caught up in the build, being in "The Zone", I forgot to take some pics! So fuse is closed, air intakes and wings are on! A bit more work on the wing tips, some clean up to do. Next step, stabs and exhaust pipe and it will be ready for primer! Stay tuned!
  16. Nice job so far! Do you have the Aboukir filter or the Vokes for the carb intake? Keep up the good work!
  17. It has sand and earth brown on it? Then should be OK!
  18. I was thinking of Airfix 1/24th Ju-87B Stuka......
  19. Thanks Mark, I'm closing the fuselage right now!
  20. Thanks Dan but I already have the paint scheme. Challenge is to find pictures of the real bird! BTW it's not an F4 represented there, it's an upgraded F6.
  21. Incredible work you did there! Love it!
