Erwin
Hi all, I bought the Redux version of the Razorback. I assume it's the same mold as Trumpeter. Does the Trump kit have transparant fuselagehalves like some other kits have ? It seems a pitty to hid all that innerdetail once build. If it does have such parts. Can someone spare one half ? I might do a one side painted/one side transparant P-47.
Jack
Hi Erwin, Unfortunately Trump didn't bring out such a Razorback (yet...), so indeed it is pity you'll have to hide all that detailing behind a closed fuselage, or..........you could try and make some "cut-outs" here and there (just the way Chris in Germany displayed many of his models), actually it should be possible without too much trouble have fun building, cheers, Jack. The "cut-away" idea crossed my mind to.

Erwin
:P ......YOU CAN DO IT, GO FOR IT..!!! Have fun, J. It all depends on how the detailparts turn out after building, painting and such. Then maybe, just maybe I might concider doing it. But as I told you at the convention I'm use to building easy kits like Revell. This kit has more parts than all my builds I did in 2007 put together. So this P-47 will be a longterm project for this year. Doing small subbuilds as I 'm doing other more "fast-building " kits too.
Ads
Ive got two of these, better that trump as they have extra decals and resin wheels extra!! No clear fuselage, this hasnt been done and dont know if it will. thought its silly not to . its a great kit tho. Look at the rippers revell p-47 its better than mst of the new ones - hats off to him Ads
Erwin
No clear fuselage, this hasnt been done and dont know if it will. thought its silly not to . Silly indeed. Trump does it on some 24 th kits which have lesser detail than the P-47 kit. Doesn't make sence to have all those inner parts lost of view once build. Ads
About the same time i think, i got mine late last year and another on ebay real cheap this year bout a month ago from France as well a little more but hte wheels and definitely the decals make it worth it. Otherwise 'cept the box of corse its no different to the Trump kit. Ads
