Chris Hannover - Germany
Hi Olve, nice work on the seat belts! If i may give a hint, i would put some detail to the rear decking, just to make it look more busy. Here is what i did on my (not yet) finished G14. I used the same cockpit Cheers, Chris
alaninaustria
Hi Olve, that is a great build so far! Is it correct to have the seatbelts the way you do? I always thought that they should be on opposite sides so that the point of the lower buckles of the shoulder straps are in the inside rather than the outside. Small detail, but I thought I would ask! Best reagrds and keep up the great work! Alan

Alan To be quite honest, I dont know, but it seems that you are right when I check my references Hi Olve, nice work on the seat belts! Chris Hannover - Germany
Hi Wumm, you may be right with the battery box. My main focus was for the rear decking only. The question about the battery box depends on if MW 50 was installed or not, right? Cheers, Chris

Olve Dybvig
I am not sure where this Werk nummer 411960 comes from. In the Luftwaffe In Focus special No 2 this Werk.no is mentioned. But from where ? Maybe from Dörr's log book? In my papers, a G-14 is mentioned as belonging to stab III/JG 5 (and none G-6). I will try to verify this through my network in a few days. I seems likely that the "Boss" would prefer a better A/C (with MW50). According to the Flugzeugbestand und Bewegungsmeldungen, only G-2 and G-6 was presence i december 1944, so some G-14 was supplied during 1945. A photo of Dörr's machine: (Photo from Luftwaffe In Focus special No 2) Of course with a carpet over the cockpit Another one: (my collection) Dörr's machine with red arrow Olve
Olve Dybvig
And if all fails, I can do this one : (Photo own collection) This on is a G-14 with MW50 from 10./JG 5 Or this one (photo own collection) Probably a G-14 from 11./JG 5 The spinners looks a little bit light to be Black, Luftwaffe In Focus special No 2 suggest green Anyone ? And very important: The Eismeer emblem is not a JG 5 emblem, but a III./JG 5 emblem The emblem for IV./JG 5 locked like this Olve
