pennausamike
The title, The Ragged, Rugged Warriors, comes from a Martin Caidin book about the early days of the Sino-Pacific theater in WWII. I planned to build five kits from that period; a Philippines P-26, a P-35, a P-40B, a P-40E and a Pearl Harbor P-36. I haven't bought the P-36 yet, and I've only built the Philippines based P-35 made from the old Williams Brothers kit. I made the air intake based on the example in Kermit Weeks collection, only to find out that it is a modification from service with the Swedish air force. Ooops, too late now. I also finished the Revell P-40E There must be an 1/8th inch of bondo in the fuselage to wing join! I still need to decide on squadron codes for both aircraft; I'll probably get motivated to do that after I get a couple more of the other kits built. Azgaron
Nice builds both of them! Looks great! I have the P-35 but plan to do the race version. Thought of doing a Swedish version, but was unsure of what modifications I needed to do. HÃ¥kan
