blackbetty
and putting on the ordnance at this stage of the build, i just want to get it finished, there is future over the decals (going down very nice) and a black wash to bring out the panel lines all the geardoors are on, only the seats, the canopy, exhausts and some small parts missing some dullcoat in order and i think i can finally put it on the shelf (out of my immediate sight)

blackbetty
thanx guys no pics of the finished thing looking at the thing i noticed i forgot to stencil the pylons - bummer that will be a lot of work now they are on the plane. dont want to break them off (again) thats one of the challenges of a stalled build, i most of the time tend to forget things because i am really concentrated on another build
blackbetty
one more (bad cellphone) pic besides the stencils i ahve a hard time locating all the missing small parts (another drawback of a build that lasts forever, well nobody else to blame but me)
blackbetty
well yes, i am still working on this one after having a hard time finding some flat coat to finish up the paintjob i finally found the (gunze) one i wanted putting on the last details like the canopy, pitot tube etc and the position lights this is when i found out i have modified the wingtips wrong they still have the boss for the little radome that only slated F-4s have bummer, the outer wings just dont want to come off, "welded" by plastic glue, i will ruin the paintjob on them if i break them with force it just doesnt want to get finished, it even survived the groupbuild
blackbetty
i decided i had to get the outer wings off, so with the help of a plastic box, some sheet and plywood that i layed under, i was able to make a cut without damaging the undercarriage
blackbetty
then i reshaped the wingtips and primed them i used the revell RF4C kit outer wings as a guide. strangely these have a different shape , but i didnt want ot investigate further, the overall shape is the same the paintjob is ruined and i will have to find some decals pics of the finished plane here: http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.ph...mp;#entry285103
