AlanG
Hi guys Sorry for yet another Fw190 question. Just wondering if i could utilise an F8 kit and convert it to a G8 version? Or would i have to use an A8 kit to do this? I've always loved the box art on the old 1/48 Dragon Fw190 G8 kit and it's tempted me into maybe having a go at one in 1/32 Cheers Al
D Bellis
The G-8 was externally similar to the F-8, except the cowl guns were removed (no outboard wing guns, either, as with the F-8) and there were drop tank racks under the wings outboard of the landing gear. The Revell Fw 190F-8 kit includes the upper cowl part with bulged blanks for a G-8. You're on your own for the drop tank racks under the wings, though. Found out they were ETC 503 racks so now i need to find AM ones from somewhere. Either that or i'll have to try and scratch build two Does anyone know of any AM ones? Kagemusha
Does the recent re-release of the PCM kit come with such racks? AlanG
