ringleheim
I stumbled across this build video of the Tamiya 1/48 F-16 yesterday. The author of the video and modeler was a repair technician on F-16s in the Air Force. Throughout the video he goes back and forth between his 1/48 F-16 project and commentary/photographs involving his experiences as a repair tech on actual F-16s. The stuff he comments on is absolutely fascinating and very educational if you are interested in the difficulties in keeping a modern jet fighter air worthy. I don't think I have ever seen a modeling video before where the author has actual experience working with the real life subject matter he is modeling! It's pretty cool. I have only watched this one video and I'm not sure if he does this on all of his videos or what, but check him out!
