1/32 Israeli Mirage IIIC 101 squadron build

Recommended Posts

I'm just now working on a replacement Instrument panel that matches a C model more accurately.

One I have something worth showing, I'll post some pics.

Cool.  I may just use the Eduard, since I already purchased it.

Still vacillating on versions, though.   The IAF one just has a certain something about it.

Then, of course, I'll need to get 2 more so I can do SAAF and a French desert-camo one!

I will.  I started doing mine as SAAF, but I'm currently redoing a bunch of cockpit stuff.

I also have the Isracast detail set for the Neshr.  I'm sure some of that is usable.

Arrgh.  Still on the horns of dilemma about SAAF v. IAF.

I think IAF first, then get another one and do it SAAF.  Yeah, that's the ticket!

Model Choice Paralysis (MCP) is an ugly thing... :frantic:

Well, finally got some things done on this, but pix forthcoming.   The Eduard PE looks very nice.  Yes, probably not 100% accurate but I was starting to hit that "fish or cut bait" paralysis when AMS really kicks in.

So I used the Eduard front office decorations and I have the Isracast Mirage/Neshr conversion/detail set they did for the Revell kit years ago--I grabbed the seat from that and maybe will use some other odds and ends.

Stay tuned.

Oh, and have some additional decals on order, too, just in case.

Oh man, I wish.

Too much on my plate right now with doing to exterior renovations at home, family, work...

I hope to get back at it sometime in the future. If I do I will be sure to post.

Been there, done that.  I have numerous stalled projects and I finally gave up and just picked something new (really big P-47) because it will be a close to OOB build.

Given my current time constraints....but the Mirage is still on the short list!
