campingbaer66
Hello , while I have to wait for the spare decals for my Hansa-Brandenburg W 29 ( I messed up one of the C-Decals ) I decided to start something new. The FE2b is in my opinion one of the most challenging kits from WnW but also one of the most beautiful WW1 planes. If someone does not now the kit , here is the box. And this is the version I plan to build. Started slow a few days ago with building the instrument panel , for me always one of the most exciting moments fixing all the small and sensitive decals without messing them up. Having prepared all the woodwork for the cockpit it was time today to put it all together which is pure fun with WnW kits because everything fits perfekt. Sub segments for the pilot and observer , control wires for the rudder attached. Cockpit finished accept the safety belts and frame rigging. Hope you like it so far. Guest Clunkmeister
I started mine, Peter, and got sidetracked. I got a bit farther than you, so mine is nowhere near finished, either. Keep going, this is awesome, and you're doing an amazing job so far. I'm looking forward to more! E

The1971Show
Wow, that wood grain looks fantastic! And the map detail really brings the cockpit to another level. Please keep going! Darren
TimW
Looking sharp! And an excellent choice, one of my faves. I built the Early and Late variants. http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=37704&page=3&hl=wingnut&do=findComment&comment=364502 http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=43595 Be curious to know how you will handle the rigging. I used Bob's Buckles, but I didn't buckle quite everything... Keep up the great work--the cockpit looks brilliant! Tim W.
