Spitfire MarkI P9374 Down and out

Recommended Posts

Hi Art, those resin sidewalls will really look the part under paint. Nice job of removing the gear selector lever too. No-one will ever know it was there.

Good work.

The Mk XVIII looks intriguing. Are you planning to show that in a WIP? I'd like to see more of it as it progresses too.

Love those suplimental aircraft images.

Cheers.

Hi Art.

Hope you don't mind me giving this thread a little bump.

Have you managed to get any paint on those lovely resin cockpit sides yet?

Also, how does the mk XVIII look now?

Cheers.

I have to look at the instructions, but I think this goes in the cockpit.

Geedube, you mean something like this?

The wing is from Hasegawa MkII box, they made a new engraved panels wing and boxed it up with the old MkV fuselage that has raised panel lines. Just to clarify.

starting with a Packard Merlin 1650 from a tamiya kit, the generator mount suitably modified.
