Derek B
Brad if you're doing a new seat for the P-40 I'll take four right off the bat.I think the N version is a different seat from the other versions but we'll live with that.Sure would make things a bit easier. Dave, I shall need to see what the real items look like...Some seat measurements would be helpful as well, then I can plan them (both types if necessary) . thierry laurent
Hi! The N seat is correct in the N box, just a little bit too thick. Nothing that cannot be solved easily. Situation is different for the original seat. I just corrected the internal sides and will do the external ones soon. This is not impossible to do but asks for some hours of work... Here you may find a good sketch of the side ribs: http://www.p40warhawk.com/Models/Reviews/M...P-40E_part2.htm Thierry

This seat looks to be a challange to replicate in resin;), but should be possible. I need to look at the P-40N seat as well I shall have to see if there are any good cockpit walkaround pictures) - Thanks Thierry. Derek
thierry laurent
Derek, this shall not be so difficult to mold. As I mentioned previously, there was a resin seat made by Cutting Edge. If you want to have an idea of the P-40N seat shape, look on this page (Ultracast quarter scale P-40N seat): http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/Rev2...170/rev1480.htm As you can see, it is rather simple. I'm not too sure a resin seat is mandatory in this case. I'll post a picture of my seat as soon as I'll end the update job. Thierry
