Hacker
Made some more progress on my Nieuport yesterday and today l closed up the rest of the fuselage to make way so l can start putting the flying surfaces on the plane
Hacker
Using the attached struts on the upper wing l attached the lower wings to the fuselage. The upper wing being flat to begin with help in getting the lower wings at the correct angle.

mgbooyv8
Hi David, Nice to see you continue with the Nieuport. I went back to your previous thread....impressive interior! Remember to shorten the axles before glueing the wheels on. Can't wait to see the next update. Cheers, Peter

Out2gtcha
I know when I had an issue like this with the decals on my Fisher M&P September Fury (the red ended up showing through the white in places) this was my solution.... Im not a big clear coat guy but what I did was to clear coat the whole thing then, used some clear frisket paper to cut out the shape and mask off all that I didnt want white on, and then re-sprayed. In your case I might suggest putting some clear on the wings/fuse over the roundels, then using a compass or circular cut out device of your choice, mask off the white, red and silver of the wings and just shoot the desired blue color on. Late you could go back and dull-coat or change the clear sheen as needed with a semi-gloss or flat....or leave as is. Hope that helps..... Hacker
Ok gang ran into a bit of a problem here and looking for suggestions. The roundel kit decal is well to light in the blue department and now l need fix. Floor is opened. on the left is the kit roundel and on the right is what the blue color should be Right now it is time to finish this one off. Thanks to our esteemed college LSP Ray l finally found the solution to my roundel problem. A big thanks for the decal sheet Ray it was a big help here as you can see it is a much better shade of blue on the roundels. After l removed the offending light blue roundels l replaced them with the ones Ray printed out for me with a nice cold beer and a episode of Mid Sommer Murders running l spent about an hour decaling the Nieuport. l just dry fitted some of the peices of the plane together to see what it looks like. So far so good. Maybe l will get a chance to rig it once l put a coat of Future on it to seal in the decals that is all for now
