bsarnoffca
Wonderful work on both aircraft but I particularly like the Fw190 since I'm a big fan of the JG54 color schemes and you really did a fantastic job painting this one. The shading and weathering on the underside came out very well. Nice work!
Supermario
Thanks Matty, bsarnoffca (I think your A5 will look much better !!!) For the underside, it was a test with pre-shading, I started to fill in each panel with very, very thinned Livecolor RLM 76 what allowed me to cover slowly the pre-shading, a manner to keep an easy control of what I was doing, adding layers until I was happy with the result. Supermario
(Once all marking on the "beast") I covered the paint with brush applied Future before going on with artistic oils ("Ombre" ... in french ), giving shades, oil stains and the final touch to the rivet lines while wiping the paint off with cotton buds. application on the way... bsarnoffca
Simply beautiful painting. The stains and shading particularly on the yellow cowl are very nice.
Earl
Both those models are extremely well done and I especially like that B & W photo. Thanks for sharing and you have me thinking my old FW-190 kit has been gathering dust too long. Earl
