Jack Posted September 27, 2006 Share Posted September 27, 2006 These pics are really "bright and shining" so to speak, but one thing that wonders me, why a couple of years ago some harmless "spotters" were arrested in Greece, being charged with espionage, and right now all bans have apparently been lifted????? I know of these pictures, of all the possibilities for the public, but strangely, the NATO airbase Geilenkirchen, homebase of AWACS, is still blurred out, whereas every "Tom-dick-and-harry" may pass overhead and take pictures to their hearts' delight (ok, i know officially you'll need permission by the department of defence to take pics out of an aircraft, DUH!!!), but it's funny to be confronted with "different" rules in different times and in different situations and i might say different "law" makers.........just think about it..... my two pennies..... jack.
