Thanks It's going so well I wonder where the disaster will happen, I've started 3 other WNW kits and each has suffered disaster mostly at the hands of an ultra curious 2 year old so I'm hoping this one actually gets finished. Fingers crossed.

The tunnel fit well just a bit of work getting everything lined up when you put the fuselage halves together. Biggest problem I had was getting the gun to fit with the ammo drum on. Without the ammo drum it fits fine with it's a bit tight.

Looks good what type of wire did you use on the engines?

Here are some more progress shots. I planning on doing the LVG version with the white herring bone pattern all masked off and painted.
-
Possibly I don't get a chance to check the forums alot during the day.

Unfortunately I have not been able to get the Windsock publication yet, I hope to before I finish

Here is my in progress Raiden with all markings painted rather than dither with decals

Wingnut Wings Bomber so far has been a great build everything fits great, Instructions have a few parts missed or wrongly labeled.

Desert yellow, Tamiya acrylic. It's the closest I've found for the right color though I've seen a few people talking about the Blue also being used. This color was used in the Model Art KI 61 book I have been using as a reference. Now onto the flaps.

I'll try and get some more pictures taken. Usually with little feet and hands it's night before these come out. My 2 year old has had a field day with several of my other kits already. He makes them really fly. The resin is pretty good, Wing tips needed some clean up but overall I was impressed. The Vacuform was a bit more of a problem getting to fit right. Both the belly and the rear spine are vacu parts. Once the belly was installed I had a heck of a time getting the cockpit to line up right. Plenty of putty was used on these seams but now it's hard to see where plastic ends and vacu starts. Thanks

Finally finished of the 1/32 JU88 A-1 converting it to a G-6 using the AIMS conversion set. Never worked with Vacuform before, the set replaces the belly and 60% of the spine with Vacuform, The resin parts are great but the instructions leave alot of questions and are not very clear. Overall I think it turned out ok now bring on the 188.

When I talked with the Revell guys at the IPMS Nationals about the difference I was told that the deacl sheet was the only difference between the kits. Apparently the Pro Modeler will have a different decal sheet than the standard Revell kit. I would think that if you were going to have a standard and a Pro Modeler (which costs more) that there would be more differences than the decal sheet but thats how they are going.

same price I got 2. The fit is a bit lacking in areas on the wings near the fuselage.

Would love a D0 335 , J35 Draken and a J37 Viggen in 1/32 scale -
Is Cooper Models here in the US? If so I would order from Volks USA. You will find that most of the items that Cooper is listing is almost X2 as expensive as ordering from Volks. http://volksusa.com/sws01shinden.html

Thanks, It took alot more work than I was anticipating. This kit has some amazing detail work but It's also got some real issues as well.

Had a few issues with fit but not many, biggest complaint was some items were not listed very well in their gorgeous instruction manual. Found a few parts that weren't shown until afterwards when it is hard to put them in, I am looking forward to doing the Se5 and the Albatros soon
