Here's a tip for when you mix two part resins together. Once you mix them together tip the resin into a large zip lock plastic bag and knead out the air bubbles. Close the zip lock top and cut the bottom corner off and pour it out onto the surface you want to coat. It gets all the air bubbles out from the mixing and will save you time when pouring. You will know also that it is mixed thoroughly.

Great idea with the U boat pen. I look forward to seeing it progress. I want to add a couple of hints for you in regards to the resin and pouring it
Test the polymer resin you are going to use on something else first. Resins produce a lot of heat as they cure and can melt plastic.
A helpful hint is when you mix the resin pour it straight into a ziplock bag and then you can squeeze the trap air bubbles out of it before you pour it. To pour just snip off one corner of the ziplock bag and let it flow out to the worksurface and you will have a bubble free pour.
    Hope that helps you out.

    Good luck with your project.

Yep, know all about the volcanic action of Tamiya spray cans.Once the chill has gone from it it should be fine to use. As Kev said drop a toothpick in it to see what the reaction is before you seal it up. If you dont it will erupt even with the lid screwed on.Great paint to use though and through an airbrush the result is great even with their gloss colors.

Man, that is as sweet as they get! It would have to be the best build I've seen of this kit to date. I do not even like WWI aircraft but your build makes me want to build one! Excellent work and top finish. I'd be proud to have it in my display case.

Your welcome. I build ships as a break from aircraft. I can not see it any photos of that period with the words "The Big Stick" and I have many that i have looked at from F-14 research. It was added only recently. Good luck with your build an do not forget to share photos with us.
    Cheers,

Yes ,most deck equipment including the huffers, (starter carts) as we know them and other deck vehicles would be yellow. The "Big Stick" was no where to be seen on the island when I seen her in the winter of 2001.
Cheers and good luck with your project.

Eli, they used an electric solenoid to activate the guns the same as they did in for example a P-51 Mustang. It was located on the left side of each gun. The drawings will not show the wiring as it is only a placement drawing.I would need to look into the manual to the wiring section to find it. Here is a photo of the trigger on the control wheel for you. Notice the gunsight?

Just remember guys, the bomb bay and the interior of the bomb bay doors are natural metal not interior green as indicated in the instructions and seen on most warbirds. The interior of the wheel wells, engine cowling and firewall were also natural metal. The landing gear was painted aluminum. This is from the Maintenance and Erection Manual for the B-25 and is how there were supplied from the NAA factory.

So Harold, there's a lot of scraping and shaping going on? Interesting to see what you do with the Titanics screws.
I also found a construction assembly error with the engines and will post it later. If you follow the instructions you will never get the exhuasts fitted to the back of the engine as they is just no room after everything is assembled.

Hi Jim, no news to date but it is still on the list of future releases. HK models next relaese will be the B-25J 8 gun nose version followed by the B-25H 75mm cannon nose. Their next new kit release will be the B-17G in 32 scale.

I am waiting for the P-61 to be released very much also. The B-25 will have to keep me happy until then.
