Girlscanplay2
Fantastic job Paul!! Couldn't do something that Great looking if I tried. Not easy and very time consuming! Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see it done! LSP_Paul
Guest Clunkmeister
So today's update is for My Build buddy partner Ernie. Here is some shots of the new left side console in progress, it looks a lot more rough up close and magnified, but I think with a couple of small adjustments and a couple more toggle switch bases, it's going to be a nice improvement. What comes in the kit, painted DSC01804 (800x600).jpg New Left Console Master in progress, these will be cast in resin and installed for further detailing and painted when I sand off the existing detail from the tub. DSC01805 (640x476).jpg What we want it to look like f9f_p22_portconsole.jpg Here is the progress so far on the structure of the forward wing spar. The round parts are where the actuator arms for the large center main landing gear doors will connect. Lots more detail to add here but you have to build it up in layers starting with the basic structure. DSC01807 (800x600).jpg Thanks for looking in on my build, Paul These are looking mighty good, buddy. I'd be that monkey in the pic you posted if I even attempted that. My time is best spent supervising! Looking awesome my friend, and by gum, we might even finish a build on time!

LSP_Paul
Alrighty after many hours of tiny work I am so happy to be done with these side panels for Ernie and I. I have two more tiny sub panels with breakers on them that need to be finished up but the big ones I'm calling done. We will both add our own toggle switch's once the castings are made, should be this week, THEN I can move back into the wheel wells and go crazy with creating wiring etc. Thanks for following along with my build, All the best, Paul Harold and Girlscanplay2

LSP_Paul
Thanks Ern, Glad you like the way they came out. Once you paint and install them they should look pretty snazzy =-) a few home made details on your part and you're good to go. Paul
LSP_Paul
One last one for tonight. I scraped off the existing side panels, then laid the masters on top for one last check fit before I commit them to rubber and resin. I think these will do nicely. Thanks for looking, Paul Harold and Girlscanplay2

LSP_Paul
Paul The side consoles looks absolutely perfect. Way to go Keep 'em coming Peter Thanks Peter, they were a lot of work, and they are finally " close enough" for me to be happy with. A few more little switches and levers after paint and they will be pretty neat I think. I'm glad you like them too. All the best, Paul
