no disprespect, but you shouldn't post this kind of stuff on the main board - as you rightly point out, it belongs on the traders / vendors bit etc etc

 

if you do it, then others will, and this board will get cluttered with loads of BS anouncements about who has $5 off this, and 3% off that etc etc

 

if it is that great a deal, i am sure i will hear about it from a fellow LSP member in a "private" capacity

 

i for instance, am not in North America, and so would likely never order from you anyway (my stuff is UK / Euro / Far East Asia)

 

please don't take offence - i am just stating my preference / opinion - and i am sure you meant no harm

 

the moderators can move this etc etc if they wish

I dont know if a 25% Discount is anything every one is interested in ? In months to come its possible to watch for sales and save for the itmes you want. Half the fun is watching for them to come avialable for your latest aquistion. However if any one wold like to join our orders together to make a Wholesale Order including these new OCT/NOV releases NOT yet posted to Eduards Web Site, then together we may see a 25% Discount right now. I wish the Discount were larger however their are transaction and Shipping Costs from Eastern Europe that are covered by the differnce. Beside I doubt even Ed's Largest Distributors will be willing to make such a deep cut right off the bat with these new items.

The wait might be a little long with the Nov pre-orders but i KNOW it will be coming to me well protected in the mail. Now I gotta get all the other little fiddlies together....

Your Sentiments are VERY much Apreciated. I have run four other Co-Operative Wholesale Orders in the Past for the last four of their large Scale WWI Releases. In each case they worked out very well. I collected Orders for ALL of their products including the recent releases. I collected the Funds from all the particapants when it was time to place the order and transfer the funds to europe. The Wholesale order arraived from the supplier n a few weeks. I then re-packed all the individual orders and made sure everyone got everything they asked for. All said an done we colectively saved a bit of change off the full Retail prices that everyone is used to paying for from the large Distributors and retialers here.

 

I am sure if you wait long enough they may eventually have the part or kit from Ed you are looking for sale OR you can join in now to either cash in your wish list you have been saving for or pre-order their very latest.

 

I am sure it may seem like a streach to trust someone ove rhte web to do this but I run a small Online hobby store Geared soley toward Large Scale WWI products. I have run these type of Co-op orders in the past without any trouble. I do not have the personal resources at this time to spend the large amount necessary to place this order on my own right now and sit on the inventory until it is resold. However that is no reason not to enjoy the savings and pass them on to everyone.

 

I need as many people as possible ot join in ASAP to make this order go thru. IF I do not collect enough to place an Wholesale order now I will not send out any invoices to collect funds and we will miss this oportuntiy. We will all have to wiat for Nov and order them at full cost from the regualr retialers you are used to buying from.

It was very close. There was a very limited response however the total amount met the Minimum Whoelsale Ordering requirements. ( I made the difference up we were short with the personal items I needed to order for myself.)
