mywifehatesmodels
Since I was waiting for some supplies to arrive for my other current projects, I had a few days to kill. This had me digging through my stash for something that I would do in a hurry. That's when I came across these two 109s that I had started a few years ago, but never finished. Both are Hasegawa. The G-14 sports decals from an Academy kit (and they suck!) that represent one of the aircraft that crash landed during Operation Bodenplatte. The K-4 has Aeromaster decals that represent an abandoned K-4 found by the Allies at the end of the war. Pictures of that particular plane can be found in Squadron's In Action book and it is a real "hodge podge" of parts and paint. I did what I thought looked right on both, but this was more of a "Git R Done" project and a test of the Model Master late war colors. They're not perfect, but I learned plenty and when I get around to doing a G-14 and K-4 in 1/32 scale, I'll be better prepared. An excercise, if you will. Enough yackin'. On with the pics! LSP_Kevin
Very nice John! I always liked those late-war greens. It's a shame about the decals on 'Blue 2' though. Kev
mywifehatesmodels
Thanks, Kev. However, I just realized that I forgot to paint the lights.
