Thank you Chuck! i appreciate it. I chose the subdued weathering for two reasons (well, three):

 

1) I wanted to celebrate the form and colors of this aircraft;

2) I don’t have references showing the weathering of these early Reisen;

3) Adding more weathering later is easier than removing it.

 

I admit I was strongly tempted to leave it in airframe silver, but after learning about the colors of this aircraft I couldn’t resist!
