ulvdemon
Does anyone know if the kill marks on the plane originally one posted on the starboard side or were the markings on both sides?
Wurgermeister64
I have seen "kill marks" posted on either side. Spits often tend to show them on port side (RCAF George Beurling), while some USN AC such as Hellcats and Corsairs clearly show them on the starboard (David McCampbell and Alexander Vraciu F65s), USMC AAC suchas Boyington's F4U1A shows them on the port side-however, these were largely for publicity. It really comes down to specific ACs flown by the aces themselves. LSP_K2
