swede
Evening, I am doing a 24th scale -109G-6. On either side of the windscreen just forward of the lower edge of the framing nearest the pilot are two small devices. Both are identical, shaped like a large salt shaker with what appears to be a short length of fabric hanging from the bottom. These are supplied with the kit and do show in some photos but no idea what their function is. Should be easy enough to replicate but really would like to know what I am replicating. Got an answer, educate me!! Thanks..........Swede
pvanroy
I assume you're referring to the UV-lights in the cockpit. These were attached to the framing of the windscreen, and were used to excite the radium paint on the instrument dials. LSP_K2
swede
Excellent! I was thinking they look sort of like small flashlights but didn't see that they could be positioned as the pilot would need. They look like they are just in a static position. I do appreciate the fast answer to this!! Swede
