108 gallon belly tank connections on P47D

Hi Guys,

 

I am building a P-47 bubble top and want to put the 108 gallon drop bank on the centerline connection. 

 

I haven't been able to find any specific drawings, manual description, pictures etc for this tank. Some profiles show one fuel line leading the keel others show 2.

 

Some pics look to show just the anti sway bars holding it in place but this doesn't look correct. 

 

Any help here would be much appreciated.

These might help.  

 

This shot from the very accurately-restored P-51 Happy Jack's Go Buggy show the breakaway glass tubes.  I couldn't find a good clear pic of a P-47, especially the belly, but this should give you some idea.  I'll keep digging to see if I can find a clear shot of a P-47.  I'm guessing they used the alternate lines marked J in the diagram since the paper tanks have the hookup in the back.

Found a couple wartime pics.   These appear to be single line hookups (IIRC, the pressure lines didn't come in until about the -20 block, but the top pic is a -22, so maybe they didn't hook it up all the time).
