flounder_al
Does anyone have a picture of the aerial wire on a F190 F8 (blown canopy) looks like? Just trying to figure out if it has the isulators on it or not. So many pictures out there of models with aerial cables fitted/not fitted, i just don't know what it should look like Thanks in advance
lawman56
Sounds simple, but when I needed the same info for my Spitfire, I just did a google search for "Mk IX Spitfire aerial", and found a couple dozen pics. You might try that, if you haven't. Hope that helps!
KOTR
Have problems with my scanner, once again, but the the Squadron Walk Around book states two insulators were used with the blown canopies, which can be seen on the NASM specimen pictured on pg. 40. lawman56
Well that sucks! What about the Smithsonian, (NASM), don't they have a 190 on display? Maybe dumb down the search and just type FW-190? Sadly, I'm at a loss myself.
